Global Brigades

Global Public Health Brigades at ASU is a service-based organization, and a chapter of Global Brigades, Inc., dedicated to resolving global health disparities through the implementation of sustainable water/public health projects in Honduras, Panama, and Nicaragua. 

  • Attended a 7-day Public Health Brigade with Global Brigades, building latrines for families in the rural community of Suyapa, trenching for a water pipe, and teaching children about waste management and air pollution
  • Directed an executive team of students as the GPHB ASU Chapter President
  • Educated university students about the public health situation in rural communities
  • Organized fundraisers for communities in Honduras, raising over $2000

Water1st International

Water1st International is a non-profit organization that implements piped water and sanitation projects for communities in Ethiopia, Honduras, Bangladesh and Mozambique. H2O Club at Notre Dame Preparatory was focused on informing students about the clean water crisis and fundraising for the organization. 

  • Co-founded and co-led H2O Club at Notre Dame Preparatory
  • Raised over $1500 for Water1st International through various fundraising activities
  • Delivered multiple presentations to educate the local community

HopeKids, Inc.

HopeKids is a Phoenix based non-profit organization focused on supporting families of terminally-ill children. 

  • Scheduled student entertainment and managed photography for HopeKids Day, an annual carnival-like event for the children and their families
  • Assisted in general planning for the event
  • Consistently volunteered at the event

Project C.U.R.E.

Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, sorting, and donating medical supplies and equipment to medical facilities around the world in need of resources.
